I often here a lot of people say it is a crazy world we live in. Well with people like Nick Swardson, I like to think that its a hilarious world we live in!
He seems to, if I may go Sarah Palin on ya,
Nick just has the special quality of being a good ol' funny regular average joe the plumber, uhm celebrity! *wink's into camera*
His claim to fame was driven more on a grassroots level as FANS encouraged his rise, not the industry. It put Swardson on a stage that saw him in feature fims such as "Grandma's Boy" "Malibu's Most Wanted" and "Bench Warmers" which only increased his fan base.

Sounds pretty independent to me.

Clip from latest comedy stand up DVD "Seriously, Who Farted?:

Well any way hope you enjoy some of the videos we did so check them out for sure!

Officially Major!
Recognized for Outstanding Work in the Indie Community

Prop Joe's response via twitter:

propjoe@iMMajorMedia already done and blasted it out..thats a good look! I am honored to be the first ever i.M Major Assist Award!

Be sure to follow him!

When I first received the information for this feature I was going to just paste in the bio.....but then I got to doing more research on Mr. Prop Joe and I found out that no one goes harder for the independent community than him and his crew.

All out there be sure to show some love for the work and dedication shown.

Now on to our regularly scheduled bio:

Prop Joe started out his journey in the music industry as an emcee,
and while remaining an emcee first and foremost, life seemed to have
taken different turns and as a result so did Prop Joe. Noticing an
obvious void in the music industry, Prop Joe created his own internet
radio show in 2007 entitled “The Prop Joe Radio Show” which caters to
independent artists. While the show was in its freshman year Prop Joe
was nominated for 3 Southern Entertainment Awards and has also been
nominated again for radio show of the year. The Prop Joe Radio Show
has had major celebrities come through to interview on the show from the
likes of Guru & Solar, Rocett, Jah Cure, Urban Mystic, Nu Jerzy Devil, Dj
Aaries, Dj Chuck T, and TJ from TJ’s Dj’s, just to name a few. As a
result to his commitment to break new records (including his own),
Prop Joe also wears the title of DJ and because of his hard work,
became a part of The Hood Hard Dj’s and has recently been inducted
into the Slip n Slide Family where he has been appointed as an
official Dj recruiter for the label. Prop Joe in the process, has
become equally successful in the area of event hosting as well as
having a cameo in the independent film out of Greensboro, NC "1 Foot
in 1 Foot Out". With accomplishments including host of the exclusive
exposure tour and the grand finale for The Niche Carolina Magazine in
SC, and multiple hosting appearances all over NC, Prop Joe is also
sought out as a talented event host regularly, attempting to truly
define the title emcee. Prop Joe also co-heads his own record label,
Myhouse Entertainment where he has recorded, released, and/or produced
3 full length albums and multiple mixtapes as an artist, producer and
dj. As you can see Prop Joe is an artist of many talents and
disciplines, all of which are done at an above average skill level.
While climbing up the ladder from emcee to radio show host to Dj, Prop
Joe has made the first step to his legacy in the game…what else he
will do is yet to be seen…stay tuned!
